Interpretation curriculum

Interpretation done right sends its audience a message. At the National Speech Forum, we equip your students with tools necessary to fine tune their message in their piece.

While other camps may rely on college students and first year outs to teach interpretation, we rely on the best head coaches and speech directors that taught those students to teach the future generation. Over the past fifteen years, our curriculum has evolved into a proven multi-level menu that offers a unique experience to the novice, intermediate, and advanced student.

OUR METHOD IS PROVEN TO SEE RESULTS.

WHAT SEPARATES OUR CURRICULUM FROM OTHER INSTITUTES?

our extensive & curative library

Because students at NSF have the unique opportunity to correspond with staffers before camp begins, the literature selection process is made easy!  Why? Literature options are hand picked for our students! With decades of combined coaching experience, NSF senior staffers are equipped with innumerable options varying from the classic, to the contemporary, to the experimental.  And when it comes to the purchasing of new material?... We spare no expense.

instruction begins before camp

Traditionally, summer interp programs begin by “breaking the ice” to better understand a competitor’s approach to the activity, and to brainstorm ideas for argumentation and literature selection.  However, at NSF, we understand that face-to-face time is precious! That is why our senior interp staff corresponds with students way before anyone steps foot on campus!  When students arrive at NSF, ideas for literature will have already been discussed, argumentation for programs already outlined, and most importantly, students will arrive with their minds at ease and their time… maximized.
